Brandon W. Erickson, PE, SE presented to the graduate civil engineering students at one of his alma maters, Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah on February 2, 2012. The title of his presentation was “The Art of Engineering with Existing Building Structures.” The presentation discussed the various aspects of structural engineering involved with existing buildings, such as forensic investigations, seismic upgrades, renovations and additions.
