Canstruction® is a unique charitable event for the design and construction industry that endeavors to bring attention to the fight against hunger in our own community as well as nationally and internationally. Canstruction® is a competition of local teams comprised of design and construction firms putting their professional reputations on the line by designing and constructing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned food. Due to overwhelming community, industry and sponsor support since 1996, SDA Portland has provided over 400,000 pounds of food and over $115,000 in donations to Oregon Food Bank.
